I'm feeling real punny right now.

THE RETURN OF #MINGER THOUGH!!! Seriously though, we feel so old now. But I hope you like our beards. #RetiredSocialChairLife #WashedUp

Seriously though, that's the one thing about St. Patrick's Day in Dublin, Ireland. You literally run into everyone/anyone that's abroad in Europe this semester. Everyone's on the street having a good time and hanging out having a blast. It's a pretty great way to spend the weekend.

We actually started the weekend off with a quick trip to the Cliffs of Moher with Paddywagon Tours. Our driver was actually a great guy, get to know him, I already forgot his name. But, nevertheless, he got us back in one piece, and for that I thank him.

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful? It was definitely worth the trek over to go see. These stunning cliffs are an impressive 700 ft tall. Most of the walkways aren't fenced over, and our driver warned us to be careful because it's a loooong 9 second drop into the rocks below. Basically, how did he put it? "You have enough time to snapchat your best friends a goodbye selfie before you go." Sounds promising.

Obviously, I took his advice to heart.

We also made a quick stop at the Guinness Factory. This brewery was amaaaazing and the free beers didn't hurt our opinion of the tour either. We started off learning about the brewing process and the old fashioned way things used to get done here. The apprenticeships were 7-12 years of hard, manual labor before one could become a ~*master brewer*~

This would be your life. Every day......

Preeetty chill tbh.

We also learned how to correctly taste test beer for its flavor:

Step 1 - Fill you cup about a third of the way full and inhale the aroma of the beer.

Step 2 - Take a big sip of the beer and let the flavor sit in your mouth for a moment, letting it hit your taste buds on the tip of your tongue for sweetness and the back of your mouth for the more bitter hues.

Step 3 - Exhale through your nose.

Step 4 - Repeat Steps 1-3 until you are throughly drunk.

Good thing we excel at directions.

The end of the tour led us to The Gravity Bar, an impressive 360 degree view of the city. It was a pretty awesome way to start our day.

Afterwards, we headed over to Temple Bar with the rest of the visiting population for some fun times with good potatoes, great beer, and even better friends.

Live it, love it Dublin.
